Soul/Student?

So, for the sake of context, I was told I'd have to start an application under the Soul/Student heading instead of going straight for a Human application. I got no problem with the ruling, so I figured instead of arguing it in the application itself I'd pose a question here.

What does this Soul/Student thing mean? Is soul/student some sort of provisional account status, and getting the Human title is something acquired after RPing for a period? Is it just step one on the application process and a second one is required to become a full fledged human psychic? It is both? Neither? I didn't see anything in the rules about any specific application process.

However, I say again I don't disapprove of the ruling. By the time someone reads this, I'll likely have the application transposed into Soul/Student format.

You are exactly correct! Here on Bleach SoG you do not begin as a powerhouse, you begin as a weak begginner with no experience. As a human, you start as a student at school. Shinigami start as souls (or pluses) and Arrancar as hollows. ITS A FUN NEW TWIST ON BLEACH ROLEPLAYS!!!!!

Keep in mind that should you wish to play an older human who would have otherwise left high school then that is pefectly fine although they will still be classed as a student.

Okay. So "Student," in its purest form, just describes a novice in all things spiritual. So, does the title of Human (Psychic) come around as a result of IC roleplay, a second application, or both?

Yeah you got it right. Just RP for a while and once your character has been developed enough then you can fill in a second application for a human with powers. =3

hmm so i guess now the question is, how long is "long enough". Are we talking a certain ammount of post? A certain amount of experience or some other factor?

Well essentially there is no maximum or minimum. You can file an application whenever you want, if the staff dont seem to think that your character has progressed at all however your application will be denied. A lot of other factors will go into whether or not your application is accepted also such as RP skill, attitude, fairness, etc.
